I've been thinking. Doctors are saying that an increase of symptoms in people with neuromuscular diseases, caused by weather, are anecdotal.
So I thought I'd ask people that have Muscular Dystrophy.
I find that whenever it's rainy, damp and chilly, my stiffness increases and so does the pain in my legs. They feel heavy, the muscles are stiff and sore.
Does anyone else feel the weather affects their symptoms negatively?

Cold damp weather definitely affects me. It seems if I shiver a lot my fatigue worsens tremendously. It’s like the energy taken from shivering sucks my bodily energy out.

Damp cold weather results in aching and soreness.

Oh yes! Cold weather affects my body considerably. I'm stiff and my muscles don't work as well. I live in PA where we get all 4 seasons. The warm weather helps me do more things. My muscles, body, feel much better. I hate the cold. My body hates the cold. I've often thought of moving to Florida where it's warm, but that's a difficult move. Maybe someday I will.
